In the predawn hours of Thanksgiving Day, the crew of the m/v Coral Coast searched for the source of the radio distress signal in the waters off the coast of the Dominican Republic. At sunrise, they rescued a pleasure boater from an eight-foot dingy. His vessel had sunk and he told local news media that he was alive because of the perseverance of Capt.
