Equipment Reporting: Why It Matters and How to Do It

Every year, AWO carrier members must report their vessels and barge capacity through the member dashboard.

This report includes:
  • Tugboats, towboats, and ship assist tugboats
  • Dry cargo barge capacity
  • Liquid cargo barge capacity
You can review last year's data, update it, and submit your report online.

Why Equipment Reporting Matters

Equipment reporting is very important for AWO and its members.
  1. It helps set fair dues: AWO uses your equipment data to calculate dues and assessments across the membership that support the association’s work.
  2. It keeps the industry strong: When we talk to the government or the public, we need to show how big and important our industry is. Your data helps us prove that we are a powerful force for the American economy.
  3. It helps AWO provide your company with better support: Knowing what equipment is operating helps AWO plan the best ways to keep our waterways safe and sustainable.
In short, your report helps AWO work for you.
