Congressional Towboat & Tugboat Tours

Towboat tours are an important part of AWO’s Congressional outreach strategy, providing legislators with hands-on industry education and allowing AWO members to build and strengthen the grassroots relationships that are vital to advancing our legislative agenda.

In spite of the COVID-19 pandemic, AWO remained committed to connecting members of congress with our essential industry throughout 2020. Moving toward virtual options for vessel tours, we implemented livestream tours that connected members of congress and their staffers directly with mariners as they took them around the vessels and answered their questions while miles apart.

See highlights from 2019's tours here, and highlights from 2018's tours here.
