CEO Panel Bios


David M. O'Loughlin, Ingram Barge Company

Dave took on the role of President and CEO of Ingram Barge Company in March of 2020. He has a wide range of experience in the waterways industry, having had past responsibility for all sales and logistics of Ingram’s dry cargo fleet and tank barge fleet. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer.  
 
Dave began his career as a deckhand and later worked as a tankerman. He held various positions at Warrior and Gulf Navigation and Orgulf Transport Company and joined Ingram Barge Company in Baton Rouge in 1987. He has been a Board Member of the River Industry Executive Task Force (RIETF) from 2013, serving as Industry Chairman from 2017 - 2019. 
 
Dave graduated from the University of Alabama in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration and completed his Master of Business Administration degree at Belmont University in 2006.

Mike Ellis, American Commercial Barge Line LLC

American Commercial Barge Line (ACBL) named Mike Ellis as its Chief Executive Officer in August 2020.

Prior to joining ACBL, Mike was Executive Vice President and Marine Group Leader for Savage Services Corporation where he helped grow and diversify their Inland and Offshore Marine businesses until Savage sold the Inland Business to Kirby in April of 2020. Prior to joining Savage, he was President, Board Member and part owner of Settoon Towing, LLC. Mike played an instrumental role in helping Settoon Towing start and build its bulk transportation division into a top tier operator before being sold to Savage. Prior to joining Settoon, Mike held various leadership positions with Bollinger Shipyards including EVP/CFO and EVP/COO.
 
Mike currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Seamen’s Church Institute and on the Board of Directors of Guaranty Corporation.
 
Mike has a Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University.

David Reynolds, Economy Boat Store

David Reynolds is a Vice President of Pilot Thomas Logistics and Managing Director of Economy Boat Store, a position he has formally held since July 2018. Born and raised in Knoxville, TN, David started his career with Knoxville-based Pilot Flying J, the largest operator of truck stops and travel centers in North America.  Most recently, he was the Corporate Controller of Pilot Thomas Logistics, the parent company of Economy Boat Store, based out of Fort Worth, TX.  With more than 1,000 employees doing business in 37 states, Pilot Thomas Logistics is the premier provider of fuel, lubricants and chemicals serving the North American Energy, Marine, Mining and Industrial markets.
 
Starting his career in Finance and Accounting, David is a CPA and holds a Master of Accountancy and BSBA in Accounting from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.  Although based out of Memphis, TN, he and his wife, Ann, reside in Nashville, TN.  In his spare time, David enjoys traveling, running, hiking and playing a little bit of golf.

Edward "Ted" Tregurtha, Moran Towing Corporation

Ted Tregurtha is the President & CEO of Moran Towing Corporation. Ted has been with Moran for over 25 years. His time there began in the finance, operations and sales departments and over time he worked his way to positions with increasing responsibility until being appointed President in 2001.  

Ted is a former Chairman of AWO, and holds Board membership with various industry and financial groups, including Interlake Steamship, Seastreak Fast Ferries, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, Federal Reserve Bank of New York Advisory Committee, and United Seaman’s Service.
 
Prior to working with Moran, Ted oversaw vessel operations and finances for Global Self-Unloaders.  He also held financial leadership positions with IBM Corporation and Connecticut National Bank. 
 
Ted received an M.B.A. from Cornell University in Finance & Operations Management, where he graduated with distinction.  He currently resides in Ridgefield, CT, with his wife.  He is the proud father of four beautiful children.

Matt Yacavone, Crowley Maritime Corporation

Matt Yacavone has more than three decades in leadership roles in operational, commercial, strategic planning and leadership roles in the maritime industry. He joined Crowley in 1993 with Crowley Marine Services as manager of operations in the Atlantic and Caribbean tugboat services. A licensed mariner (retired), Yacavone advanced to executive and management roles for Marquette Transportation and OSG America/Maritrans, where he also directed commercial services and managing operations for diverse maritime fleets on a global level.
 
He returned to Crowley in 2013, serving as vice president of business development for Crowley’s petroleum, offshore and fuels groups. His responsibilities included strategic planning and direct management of sales and commercial activities.
 
Yacavone holds a Master’s in Business Administration degree from Jacksonville University, and a Bachelor’s in Marine Transportation from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. He also completed the executive education program through the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Business.
