Press Release - Jennifer Carpenter Promoted to President & Chief Executive Officer
ARLINGTON, Va., Dec. 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Waterways Operators, the national trade association for the tugboat, towboat and barge industry, has announced that Jennifer Carpenter, AWO's Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, has been promoted to the position of President & Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2020.
In announcing the promotion, AWO President & CEO Tom Allegretti said: "I am absolutely delighted to announce Jennifer's promotion to President & CEO. Merritt added that Jennifer's promotion was unanimously approved by AWO's Executive Committee earlier this week.
