In a recent edition of the Waterways Journal, AWO President & CEO Jennifer Carpenter shared her insights for the publication’s article on the state of the industry in 2023. She cited Jones Act waivers, sustainability and recruitment as some of the areas that will pose challenges, as well as opportunities, in the year ahead. She also lauded the industry’s resilience and dynamism as well as its strong communication with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Coast Guard.
