AWO has launched a new Vessel Inspection Feedback Tracker to better capture member experiences with Coast Guard inspection scheduling difficulties, delays, and related challenges. This tool is designed to help AWO identify trends, quantify impacts to operations, and collaborate more effectively with the Coast Guard to improve inspection processes, protocols, and policy. |

Members have reported a wide range of issues with vessel inspections, including scheduling difficulties, service delays, and inconsistent practices across units. Collecting this information in a consistent format will allow us to:

Members are encouraged to use the form to report:
The form will ask for the Coast Guard unit(s) involved and a description and timeline of events, as well as the estimated duration of delays and resulting operational or economic impacts to your company and your customers. |
How will the information be used? |

AWO will review submissions to identify trends and, where appropriate, use anonymized examples to support discussions with Coast Guard personnel and inform advocacy efforts. AWO will never share identifying information without clear approval from individual member companies. |
